You will see I posted more waterfalls today. Water and the lack of it has become a large concern in our time. My local area has been stricken. The views of empty lakes, nothing but dust and mud are painful. So to travel to the Georgia mountains, and find these treasures, I feel lucky.The vivid greens of the foliage that frames these photos are remarkable. I love to think of how each plant came to grow where it does, all due to their paths. Seeing the water smooth and polish the rocks as it passes over them, quiets my mind. I can remember when I was small trying to watch just one drop of water and seeing if I could follow it. From trickle to torrent, it splits, joins and travels. Depths change, mist forms, water speaks to me and leads my mind to wonder.
